About the event

This day will be a critical piece in ensuring our team has a cohesive mindset around how our program implementation will come together in 2024.

We will outline the rhythms of the day and how the two programs - Fledglings and Natural Journeys - will complement each other, share space and also provide for the needs of each separate group.

We will also flesh out the plan for Term 1 with each Mentor's own unique gifts and areas of expertise. Please bring along any ideas and offerings that you might like to be included in the progam plan.... think handcrafts (sewing, weaving, knitting, etc), bushcraft and survival skills (whittling and wood carving, fire making, tracking, shelters, camouflage, water filtration, etc), movement (yoga, dance, etc), mindfulness (sit spots, journalling, relaxation, fox walking, etc).... keeping in mind that GAMES can be used to mentor many of these areas!!! We will chat more about this during our 2 day camp.

It would be amazing if each mentor thinks about taking on an 'area of expertise' to focus on for the term so the load is evenly shared among the team.

Our planning session will begin at 9am sharp, so please arrive 15mins early to settle in and fully arrive prior to beginning.

BYO chair, lunch, water bottle, snacks, notepad and pen, and sun protection. It is the middle of January and likely to be HOT. If it is looking to be too unbearable at our Tomerong site we will change the venue and sit at my place in the air con!!!

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
